Co. Down

This project involved the overall design, project management and interior fit out of a rural property, overlooking the Mourne Mountains in Co. Down. The existing dwelling had not been occupied in more than 20 years and the ancillary outbuildings were in poor repair.

Sensitive design has ensured that the replacement house sits seamlessly within the rural setting with locally quarried granite incorporated into the external walls. Open plan design, bespoke stairs, curved entrance hall and glass walls and doors ensure full enjoyment of spectacular mountain views. The stone out-buildings were remodelled to provide a standalone guest suite overlooking the courtyard and original well and provide great social space for family and friends
